TECH FOUND IMPROPER COMMAND AND FAULT IN VEHICLE LEAK DETECTION PUMP. TECH VERIFIED HARNESS AND GROUND/POWER, AND FOUND FAULT LAY INSIDE LEAK PUMP ITSELF. TECH RECOMMENDS NEW TECH TESTED VEHICLE TCC SOLENOID AND FOUND VEHICLE TCC SOLENOID HAS INTERNAL FAULT, AS POWER AND GROUND SUPPLIED ARE WELL WITHIN SPEC FROM FACTORY, TECH NOTES VEHICLE COULD HAVE INTERNAL TRANSMISSION DAMAGES DUE TO QUALITY OF FLUID AND DEBRIS FOUND IN FLUID.
- TECH RACKED VEHICLE AND REMOVED NECESSARY COMPONENTS. TECH REMOVED VEHICLE LEAK DETECTION PUMP ASSEMBLY, AND REPLACED WITH NEW ASSEMBLY. TECH THEN RE-ASSEMBLED, TEST DROVE AND VERIFIED VEHICLE EVAP SYSTEM CODE HAS BEEN CLEARED, AND VEHICLE SYSTEM RUNNING AND FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED.
- TECH RACKED VEHICLE, DRAINED FLUIDS, FOUND VERY DARK FLUID PRESENT. TECH REMOVED VEHICLE PAN, AND REMOVED VEHICLE VALVE BODY. TECH REMOVED TCC SOLENOID AND REPLACED WITH NEW COMPONENT. TECH RE-ASSEMBLED AND TEST DROVE. TECH FOUND VEHICLE TO CLEAR CODE AND RUN VERY WELL UNTIL TRANSMISSION REACHES OPERATING TEMP, AND WHEN THIS HAPPENS VEHICLE LOSES 4TH GEAR. TECH ATTEMPTED TO RE-LEARN AND FOUND ONCE AGAIN SAME ISSUE OCCURS. TECH STATES AFTER VEHICLE TCC REPAIR, AND TRANSMISSION GETTING PROPER PRESSURES AND CONTROL, VEHICLE HAS LOST 4TH GEAR, AND RECOMMENDS NEW OR USED TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY. CUSTOMER HAS OPTED FOR USED.
- TECH RACKED VEHICLE AND BEGAN REMOVAL OF ALL NECESSARY COMPONENTS. TECH REMOVED VEHICLE SUBFRAME AND REMOVED VEHICLE TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY. TECH REPLACED WITH USED TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY AND RE-ASSEMBLED AFTER PERFORMING FLUSH AND CHECK. TECH RE-ASSEMBLED, PERFORMED REMAINING SERVICES, TEST DROVE, AND VERIFIED VEHICLE SERVICE COMPLETED.
- TECH BROUGHT VEHICLE INTO SHOP AND BEGAN PROCESS. TECH RACKED VEHICLE AND BEGIN HOOKING UP FLUID EXCHANGE MACHINE WITH CONDITIONER AND OE EQUIVALENT FLUID. TECH DISCONNECTED LINES, PLUGGED FLUID EXCHANGER INTO VEHICLE LINES, AND BEGAN PROCESS. TECH COMPLETED FULL VEHICLE FLUID EXCHANGE USING VEHICLES OWN POWER TO CYCLE THROUGH GEARS AND SYSTEM, USING OE EQUIVALENT FLUID. TECH DISCONNECTED MACHINE, RE-CONNECTED LINES, ENSURED ALL COMPONENTS TIGHT AND NO LEAKS, TEST DROVE VEHICLE, DOUBLE CHECKED FLUID LEVELS AND VERIFIED SERVICE COMPLETE.
- TECH PULLED TRANSMISSION LINES, AND FLUSHED UNTIL COLOR AND DEBRIS LEFT LINES, AND VERIFIED VEHICLE LINE FLUSH AND SERVICE COMPLETED. COOLER WAS FLUSHED UNTIL DEBRIS AND COLOR WAS NO LONGER PRESENT AS WELL.
